Applications are invited from the candidates for appointment against the following posts on contract basis in Computer Science and Information Technology Department at BUET, Khuzdar Approved by Ministry of Science and Technology, Islamabad.

1. Professor (Computer Science) Qualification: Ph.D in relevant field with 12 years teaching/research experience in the relevant field out of which 5 years must be teaching experience at the University level plus eight research publications in a journal of national or international repute. OR Master's degree in relevant field with 15 years teaching/research experience in the relevant field out of which 5 years must be teaching experience at the University level plus 8 research publications in journal of national or international repute. Salary. Rs. 100,000/- per month.

2. Associate Professor (Computer Science/IT) Qualification: Ph.D in relevant field with 7 years teaching/research experience in the relevant field out of which 3 years must be teaching experience at the University level plus 5 research publications in a journal of national or international repute. OR Master's degree in relevant field with 10 years teaching/research experience in the relevant field out of which 5 years must be teaching experience at the University level plus 8 research publications in journal of national or international repute. Salary. Rs. 75,000/- per month.

3. Assistant Professor (Computer Science/IT) Qualification: Master's degree or equivalent in relevant field and 6 years teaching experience in a recognized University Salary. Rs. 50,000/- per month.

4. Lecturer (Computer Science/IT) Qualification: Master's degree in relevant field OR B.E. (Computer System Engineering) Salary. Rs. 35,000/- per month.

5. Computer Programmer must supervise and teach practical in C, C++, Oracle, JAVA, Visual Basic and other packages. Qualification: M.Sc. Computer Science/IT in 1st division with 2 years experience OR B.E ( Computer System Engineering ) with at least 2 years practical experience in programming languages. Salary: 50,000/- per month 6. Lab Engineer/ Lab. Instructor: Qualification: B.E Computer System Engineering/ Electronics Engineering, one year experience in trouble shooting, installation of LAN/WAN Salary 15,000/- per month

Terms and Conditions:

1.The appointment is initially for a period of 2 years on contract basis. The probation period will be three months.

2.Candidates in already in Government service/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel.

3.No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for test/interview.

4. Only short listed candidates will be called for test/interview.

5.Applications on plane paper along with CV and attested document should reach the office of Registrar on or before 1st January, 2002.
